We share your information only as described below:
- With other users, as part of the matching experience: Your profile information (name, photos, bio, age, and other details you add) may be shown to users you are matched with. You control what you include in your profile.
- With service providers: We share information with vendors who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), payment processing (Stripe), and AI services (Anthropic). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of SinglesPop, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a business transfer: If SinglesPop is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

10. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended only for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@singlespop.com.
12. AI and Automated Decision-Making
SinglesPopuses artificial intelligence to select and rank your daily matches. The AI considers factors such as your stated preferences, profile details, and compatibility signals to generate a ranked list of up to six potential matches per day. These matches are suggestions only. No match is guaranteed, and the AI system's outputs reflect patterns in the data rather than a guarantee of compatibility.
We also use Claude (Anthropic's AI model) to generate personalized compatibility summaries shown when you open a balloon. This content is produced automatically and represents the model's interpretation of profile data, not a human assessment.
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where required, by sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
