Child Safety Standards
Effective date: June 28, 2026
1. Our Commitment
SinglesPop has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment that is strictly limited to adults, and to preventing any misuse of our platform to harm, exploit, or endanger minors.
These standards apply to all users, all content, and all interactions on the SinglesPop platform and mobile application.
2. Age Requirement and Verification
SinglesPop is exclusively for users aged 18 and older. We enforce this requirement through multiple layers:
- Users must affirmatively confirm they are 18 or older during account registration.
- Our Terms of Use prohibit anyone under 18 from creating an account or using the Service.
- We offer identity verification (KYC) through our third-party verification partner, Didit, which confirms user identity and age using government-issued documentation.
- Any account identified or suspected to belong to a minor is immediately suspended pending review and permanently deleted upon confirmation.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on SinglesPop and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities:
- Any content that sexually exploits, depicts, describes, or solicits minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any format.
- Any attempt to contact, groom, solicit, or arrange in-person meetings with minors.
- Any content that sexualizes individuals under 18, whether real or fictional.
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting sexually explicit material involving anyone under 18.
- Using our platform in any way intended to gain inappropriate access to minors.
4. Detection and Enforcement
SinglesPop takes active steps to detect and remove CSAE content and actors from our platform:
- User reporting: Any user can report another user or their content directly within the app using the built-in block and report tools. Reports are reviewed promptly by our trust and safety team.
- Account review: Reported accounts are suspended while under investigation. Accounts confirmed to have violated our child safety policy are permanently banned.
- Content moderation: Our team reviews flagged content and user reports on an ongoing basis.
- Pattern detection: We monitor for behavioral signals consistent with grooming or exploitation and act on those signals proactively.
5. Reporting to Authorities
SinglesPop complies with all applicable laws regarding mandatory reporting of CSAE. When we discover or receive credible reports of child sexual abuse material or exploitation:
- We immediately report the content and any associated user account information to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, including providing account data pursuant to valid legal process.
- We preserve relevant evidence in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
6. In-App Reporting
Users can report child safety concerns directly within the SinglesPop app at any time:
- Tap the menu on any profile or conversation to access the Report option.
- Select the reason that best describes the concern, including "Inappropriate content" for any content involving minors.
- Add details to help our team investigate quickly.
Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team. Urgent child safety concerns are escalated immediately.
